I'm Jerome, a software engineer based in Jamaica. I built The Board because keeping up with what's happening around the island, from parties and concerts to cultural events, sports, and food festivals, usually means piecing it together from a dozen different Instagram pages and word of mouth.

The Board is my attempt to put it all in one place: a simple, open notice board where anyone can browse what's on by parish or category, and any promoter, venue, or event organizer can submit their own event to be pinned up for the community to see.

The goal is simple: bring the whole community together, make it easier for people to find things worth showing up to, and give smaller events the same visibility as the big ones.
